This was shot on my Beaulieu 7008 Pro at Cine Gear 6/4/2010 for the 'Do A Shot With Pro8mm!', on the Paramount Pictures back lot.

Camera: Beaulieu 7008 Pro
Film: Pro8-07 (Kodak Vision 3 5207 250D)
Processing: Pro8mm
Transfer: Pro8mm M2 1080p to PRORES 422
Encoded: MPEG-4 in a Windows version of Premiere Pro CS4
The Y-Front's capable of doing HD transfers? Guess I won't need to spend all that money on another M2 transfer--especially seeing as I can't even load the file into anything, and Pro8mm seems to not want to get back to me again.

@cubdukat Corrected that in the description. My bad. I was able to see the PRORES file fine in Premiere Pro CS4 and use it without rendering.

@wattehel Ah. If only I was able to get Premiere Pro CS4 to boot up. I have Native Instruments' Kontakt Player 4 installed, and it doesn't like it for some reason. Unfortunately, not even the Prores Windows plugin for Quicktime seems to like it. Is there any way to keep it from scanning for VST plugins when it boots up, because that's where it's running into problems? Like maybe hiding the VSTPlugins directory?

@cubdukat you can try to move the VSTplugins folder, then start Premiere Pro. Uninstall then reinstall Premiere Pro if you haven't already. Uninstall reinstall Quicktime if you haven't. I found that the prores file takes some time to load into Quicktime. As a last resort you also might have to do a clean install of Windows as painful as that might seem.
