  • @michael1791 the U.S didnt cause 9/11 and almost 3000 people to die. I will respect your views of the war, (even though I disagree) and yes the U.S government isn't the best, but don't you DARE compare Al Qaeda to the U.S. There is a difference between a bad government, and terrorism.

and for crying out loud your debating ethical reasons for war are for C-Span, not a sesame street video

  • Awesome! This is just awesome, it is really necessary for children to know about the war, this is really great. Let's recruit them while they don't know anything about it. I live in southeastern Europe, and we have a saying that goes : Obey, or America will bring democracy to your country. You know what, when I look at this video, I think the name of it should be : " A guide for making idiots".

If that's the truth, that is one more reason why people should never go to war. And that clearely shows that US government does not care about the soliders, all they care about is profit. It's a private government, actualy.

The Engineering of Consent for the war in Iraq and Afganistan, and the other wars that America is, or will be part of, is not for sesame street video, but yet it is there. Politics and politicians are not for sesame street video, but they are also there.

  • Obomba hired Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, and Tom Hanks to act in PSAs for the soldiers, to put a pretty face on war. He had a grandpa blowing out birthday candles, cute little kids waiting for their mommies to come home from war, and plenty of sniffles. A PR masterpiece, dripping with honey.

Obomba forgot to show all the innocent international neighbor children missing arms and legs because he enjoys playing with all those bombs in his bomb closet. He thinks they're his.

Murder was not the only thing that was condoned. Native tribes were forced from their homes. Their land was taken. Their language and culture were forbidden. And any child caught practicing either would be punished. That is why it's almost impossible to find a first nations who knows their native tongue. It was murder, theft, and forced conformity. The complete annihilation of an entire culture.

My point is that it's laughable to blame the US for the actions of some British colonists. Please, direct me to the event in which the US government actually ordered the murder of any natives.

  • @Kloborgg All I see is justification of evil actions. Just because lots of other countrymen helped kill natives doesn't mean that the U.S. didn't turn a blind eye to murdering them. Do you have an actual point to make here?

  • @michael1791

" all governments do is oppress people and make them into slaves."

Ironic how you embody the absolutist ignorance of the people you're trying to talk down to. Native Americans were not wiped out by the US. Many died at the hands of British, French, Dutch, and Spanish settlers, and even then most deaths were caused by accidental disease and drug abuse. At worst the US practiced racism in its early years against natives. Arrests the Japanese was certainly a stain on our record.
