yes - The great days are long gone. For me. 85 to 93 was the golden Era.

This was F1 as it should be, if I look at these strange looking cars they will drive this year and when I see tracks like Bahrain, Malaysia, China, Valencia and what they made with Hockenheim, with Spa etc. I could cry. This is no longer F1, this is just pure advertising.

I would say that the best years would be 1985, 1986, 1990, 1991. But in general the early years of the 3.5 NA engine regs were the best (particularly 1990 & 1991) - HUGE variety of Teams, Engine suppliers and Configurations, Great racing and of course, the Noise. Definitely a feat that can't be repeated eversince. I don't really dig into 1992 season, since the dominance of Williams was LARGELY credited to the high tech active suspension of the Williams cars , which was an unfair advantage.

1967 until 1994. That is the golden Era to me. Great history, great drivers, great cars. Maybe today we are in another good era, time will tell , but with emasculated tracks and corporate-grown young drivers, some of the magic is gone.

@mallamoozoo What about the 70´s???? The slides, the jumps.. Also part of the golden era to me, witch stopped abruptly in 1994..or in the best of chances 1997.
