This movie scared the crap out of me when I was little. Anthony James as the chauffeur gave me nightmares for years! This is a little tribute to the movie.

  • @tulllguy no one he jumped

  • @seanr456 That grin absolutely scared the shit out of me i was 10 years old and had to sleep under the covers for years after that.it seems really dumb now but the karen black scene is still creepy!

  • @RipTheSystem33 I loved Anthony James' character in this. Totally doing myself up like that guy for halloween. XD

  • Loved this film. Its great to see how well its appreciated even after all these years. Certainly a timeless horror classic that relied on mood rather than the technical.

  • At 2:12 my life was changed forever.

  • @jtucker763 OMG, I thought I was the only one who was thinking of that! :) I'm 41, and that horrible grin has stayed with me my whole life!

  • For psychologically terrifying films from the 70s, I rank this up there with the Exorcist and The Omen. Yeah, that final scene with Karen Black as the old lady is a heart stopper, but it doesn't get any creepier than a gawky chaffeaur with an evil grin at a funeral. I've seen this so many times, but watching the clip where Oliver Reed's character is outside -- and the old car slowly enters the drive -- and you can see the chaffeaur in it -- still scary!!

  • It scared me to death when I was I kid. I hadn't thought about it in years, then that Herman Cane commercial reminded me of the chauffer's creepy smile. Thanks for posting it.

  • the scene with the limo driver gave me nightmares for years when i first saw this movie! very underrated.love it.
