  • @makehope Wrong. We can. If you can see the truth and yourself be changed and live by something better, than other people may start to do it to. Don't start with other people. Just start with yourself. If all of us saw that same goal and then started independently ourselves to think differently, do differently, believe differently, then the whole world would start transforming because we transformed.

  • Blows my mind Seth sends his own children to a public school. Blows. My. Mind. That said, he is on the money. Finally, someone speaking directly about something important.

  • Seth is s ahead of his time....sadly we'll never catch up!

  • search "college conspiracy" on youtube

  • "...college is an even bigger scam..."

I've always thought that I was alone in this thinking.

Innovators are not borne out of an assembly-line of lemming students. Takes an odd ball to come up with a revolutionary idea.

  • "we are not gonna test our way out of it." this simple truth cant seem make its way into the heads of corrupt governments and schools. we have to raise our voice.

  • @marttysebastian Where is your proof that what Seth Godin says is "uninformed and outlandish"? The Book Dumbing Us Down lays out lots of documentation about what Seth is saying here. The author is John Taylor Gatto.

  • Very American, and this is not for many/most European countries, but the result may be the same.

Homeschool is bad, as it put education in hand of unskilled educators. And many do things like indoctrinate their children in bad things like "intelligent design".

  • @dogdutyascetic Everyone agreeing does 'prove his point sort of' but only sort of. I also think everyone agrees for DIFFERENT reasons. I agreed with him before I heard this because I taught myself a better way to learn a foreign language. The 4 years of Spanish I had were just memorizing single words. I think memorizing phrases is better because that's how people speak. But schools will never change because they are enormous bureaucracies.
