  • Representative Griffith wears a lot of hats. My party says good riddance to the one who speaks with a forked tongue.

  • @spiderj19 That's politics. Like Arlan Specter and Obama who "loves" him now.

  • "....elected by the people of north alabama as an independent conservative congressman," Was he scared to even mention the fact that he was voted in as a DEMOCRAT? Does "Independent Conservative" mean Democrat?

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! People's eyes are opening. Bless you man!

  • The bible says traitors go to the lowest circles of hell.

You are a traitor when you are a Democrat who switches to a Republican.

  • Lmao the funny thing is before he switched republicans were running ads saying he hated America and supported terrorists..So funny to see them yank them all now that he is one of them..As soon as he accepted the Gop label, like many others he went instantly from terrorist sympathizer to Patriot lmao.

  • love it!

  • He was a "closeted conservative Republican" anyway. He is pro-white, pro-business, pro-gun, pro-life, pro-Southern, pro-religious, anti-Muslim, anti-black, anti-immigrant, anti-Obama. It is interesting that people are NOW all of a sudden concerned about spending and the deficit. It is stupid that people talk about liberty and freedom being gone. They act like the government has put slavery back into effect, or there are no voting rights, or civil rights.

  • Marxism? That is way too extreme! This man was a Republican in nature based on his voting record. He is from north Alabama. Obama lost his district by 25 points, so he had an incentive to join the GOP. The problem is is that he will be challenged in primaries. The Teaparty people will come after him to see if he is conservative enough. Marxism, that is stuff from the 1920's and 1950's Red Scare. I think it is best that Americans examine this two-party system and get away from it.

  • There is in fact a large cadre of democrat politicians at odds with what their party has become. MSNBC, CNN, Maher, Olbermann et al will damn sure not reveal that truth objectively for they are not journalists they are stand up comics and carnival barkers. Griffith must be commended for his honesty integrity and self respect. Too bad the majority of his former peers don't have the backbone to stand up for what they truly believe and instead answer the whipcrack.

    Voters have no such restraints.
