mine are two months old but i back combed mine and i spray my dreads with salt water and that is the natural way to tighten and if you just once in a while palm roll that back of your dreads they will come out better but i know what you mean i play with my front ones more then the back also headbanging a lot helps loose hairs stick to your dreads haha
