Sins of a Solar Empire - Elmina Chronicles 1 - Battle for Elmina (Machinima)

The United Nations of Elmina (UNE) is an independant colony in the Cerra star system. Only having settled planet Elmina 150 years ago, the Elminians have lived in peace since colonization. However, theire planetary neighbors the Voskr dislike their presence and decide to intervene. The following conflict became known as The Battle for Elmina.

Note: The storyline has nothing to do with the Sins story. This is basically an alternate universe. Same ships, different races and plot. TEC = UNE, Vasari = Voskr.

All songs are provided by FreeSoundtrack, a group that gives out free user created music for use in machinimas without the uploader getting banhammered by copyright issues.

Well, its pretty new, and nobody really watches machinima unless its made in Halo. Plus, Sins machinima is nonexistant other than this and a few other videos...

Not like this video is too well known or anything, but I had fun making it so I'm going to work on part 2 pretty soon. I'm also making a 1.5 to go between them, working on it now actually. You guys think I should try adding some voice acting to it? I'm not a little kid (thank God) so I have a pretty deep voice, and I can do about 3-5 separate voices. Should I add that into it, or you think I should just leave it the way it is and let the updates in the corner tell the story instead?

Thing is, with SoaSE, the camera movements are very cinematic during gameplay, so anything looks good. But this was well made, unlike most machinimas nowadays. Thumbs up and a personal rating of five stars. Oh, and props on getting Fraps to run on this game.

If I could say anything about it, the camera work is amazing. It looks like professional camera moves. It's very cinematic, but kinda hard to tell what's happening, maybe some more zoomed out shots. Anyways, 5 stars, onto part 2!
