Good video. Can you review the Katadyn Survivor? Makes fresh water from ocean or brackish or chemically tainted water. How does it work? Is there a DIY alternative? Does anyone else make it?
Fresh water source is limited in the ocean. A distiller needs takes too long. The Katadyn Survivor pump can produce 35 gallons of fresh water a day. Also removes dissolved chemicals, nerve agents, viruses, bacteria etc.

He was a truly great man. But I am quite sure when offered the wings, he would have said "No thanks" so he could figure out his own way to fly.

Jim Givens was a truly a great man! We all have our moments in life, both where the light shows our good sides and our bad..Jim certainly had his share of both. The Jim I knew had immense pressures about him, things that would have broken a normal man in pieces. A man of immense physical and emotional strength. While someone commented as to 'heaven not knowing what to do with him, I am sure his company is well enjoyed (and he must look ridiculously funny with wings!)

Jim Givens the inventor of this raft was a hero.
He was a war veteran and had children and family that loved him dearly. The effects of his brilliance will be felt for generations and many people will reap the benefits of his
invention.
God Bless Jim Givens... I am sure heaven doesn't know what to do with you.
