@AndrewMarron Well, Minnie May was a child prostitute in China when she was 14 or 15 in order to avoid conflict with the mafia. Hence the "China Doll" references. The manga is a lot better than the anime, but I do love both. The only reason I bought the manga was because I loved the anime so much.
