  • Contrary to popular belief, the British Empire was NOT founded on the slave-trade.

    It was infact founded on the hard work of the working class (most people) of Britain, the children included, whose daily toils go largly historically unrewarded to this day.

  • I'm reading about the industrial revolution in my social studies class...I never knew the children worked the only thing they metioned where some women between 16-30 and under that worked for a guy with the last name a lowell .Aperantly they where called the lowell girls and lived in harsh conditions.
