Everyday we are in contact with people that mean to say the right thing, but don't. I get that. They say things like "at least he just deals with it so good" or "he is such a trooper and does his stuff without any trouble" . Or a couple other common ones are "that must be rough, but at least you get help from the government" or "You seem to be getting around just fine (said to me)". Just goofy things that you can't understand. I was approached last week in the Costco parking lot by a man who asked me if I would like a guarantee on going to Heaven after I died. Just crazy stuff. So this week I decided to take a couple snapshots of our behind the scenes life. Internally we become frustrated. It's the times Lyman doesn't want to do his treatment or even worse, he does all his stuff as he is suppose to and
