The second part of the Mole's Cousin episode of Wind In The Willows by Cosgrove Hall, 1984...

"Mole receives a letter from his cousin, Auberon. He is coming to visit Mole End. Because Auberon is a rich playwright from the city, Mole is very nervous about whether he will like his humble home. Toad, Rat and Badger all give their advice on how to seem stylish and fashionable in front of Auberon. Mole does not want to put on a charade, so he just acts himself when his cousin arrives. Auberon is glad to spend time in such a simple environment. Toad is outraged that Auberon's chauffeur is also a toad."

  • @GCmediacourse yeah i agree they dont show or make movies and tv shows like they use to;back in those days they had more character, more heart, more realistic features and adventure for people of all ages.....but thats the way the cookie crumbles the old stays for a time and then the new comes in all in the name of progress basicly.

  • "skittle" hmm i guess thats what they called bowling back in the days of english society, actualy that makes me think of the candy "skittles."

  • It´s so sad, Richard Pearson passed away a day after his 93th birthday a week ago :.((. Thank you for giving us so much fun and rest in peace.

  • Ive got this well mainly the Orignal movie and the first series on DVD. its a shame things like this are ot on any more To much American Import shit with Canned Laughter.

  • Why is it...That all the other animals in the series are called by name "Auberon, Thomas, Billy Rabbit, etc) but the main cast is only their species? It's Auberon Mole, but Mole is only Mole Mole.

  • lol toad's face when he sees the driver !

  • I never liked this show when I was a kid because it was so slow moving. Now that I'm an adult, I can really appreciate it a lot more.

  • @theowind

a village idiot like mole. The pompous Badger always gives advices never do anything, Toad the intellectual..

  • Love the song! :0)

  • According to the end credits on my boxset Auberon is voiced by Howard Lloyd Lewis. He co-starred in a film called Clockwise alongside John Cleese.
