Kirby Superstar Gameplay: Gourmet Race

Wow, this video's view count took me by surprise! There sure are a lot of Gourmet Race fans out there (gee, I wonder why...)!

Here, Kirby (that's you) races King Dedede while he makes food disappear by running into it. Makes about as much sense as destroying an evil power that threatens to eclipse the entire universe just to get your Strawberry Shortcake back, but whatever.

It's also the origin of everyone's favorite Kirby song.

Posting roms is not really illegal. Nintendo is not selling this exact game, so they are not making any money on this game whatsoever any more. Now, there is Kirby superstar ultra but that is an entirely different game altogether.

It's still being sold on the Virtual Console service, if that's what you're talking about. Even so, this game isn't in the public domain, meaning that Nintendo and Hal Labs still own all of the rights for the game.

Nintendo did a great job on remaking of this game, but I still find the original Gourmet Race levels better.

I don't mean to sound rude, but the levels in Super Star Ultra were unchanged from this one. The only notable differences are the more detailed graphics and the fact that King Dedede can't fit through the block walls as easily in the first level.
