Bet you didn't expect another update so soon, did you ;)? Now you can verify that I was telling the truth when I said that I was working on like 10 thing at the same time! As you can see the Laboratory part is the easier part to recreate because we have almost all the BGs of that area, which doesnt mean it's easy to do it at all.

CHANGES: only one new 1.5 room playable: Level 4 Lab Corridor (again, the best I could make ATM) which made correct linking of some of the older rooms I was working on possible, four old 1.5 rooms revised: Hangar C-2 (actually, I remade it from scratch changing the BGs to the non-burning ones and got rid of the annoying monitor overlap effect), Control Room (I love this room for some reason! The boundarie/camera setup was heavilly improved + I added some monitor effects), Computer Room (remading this one from scratch resulted in obtaining almost perfect boundaries, although I cannot get rid of the annoying footstep sound ATM...), Red Lab (remade from scratch, added new features), shitloads of RDT hacks and testing...

  • I love the 1.5 lab! I think what annoys me most about the lab in 2, is the optional things. The moth fight and fingerprint keyboard are optional, and that sucks because I like the moth. I love that you knifed it to death! lol.I look forward to seeing more because I've been watching your videos since you were working with Elza's skin in RE2, and really love to see updates from you. I am curious about the man spider though, do we know if it was meant for the lab only or if it was like Mr. X?

  • Actually, the soundsets i use are 1.5 zombie moans ripped from various 1.5 trailers. It's not possible to make a 100% zombie soundset that way because the soundset system used in 1.5 varies from the one used in retail BH 2 (eg. in 1.5 the zombie moans everytime it gets shot while in retail BH 2 it doesn't). I don't see how using RE 1/3 zombie moans over original 1.5 moans could improve this project (care to explain the idea a little more?), but I'm always open for suggestions :).
