this is such a beautiful series. the only saddness i have is that it is over! i don't see how it could have gotten canceled. everything was so nicely done and well put.

i agree, i wanted iris and the father to get together and wanted may to marry the geeky bloke that loved her! lol. gutted they didnt do a 2nd series. absoloutely fantastic! thanx very much xx

No one can do this sort of thing like the Beeb. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you ever so much @xxXjanineXx for taking the time and trouble to upload such an excellent programme. It made a few off days brighter.

thanks so much for putting this up!!! Great series. I am a huge Stephen Moyer fan, yes because of true blood, but he is a fabulous actor and I am enjoying all of his work. All the other actors and actresses were brilliant on this show as well. Thanks again!

though i'd have liked a series two. I'm content with this ending! what could they have continued..?first series was so full of drama already. I think it ended well, although i am sad for dadda. he loved his lady friend and deserved to be happy. i thought the kids were a bit selfish. it was alright for iris to bugger off and get married after like 3 dates, and it was ok for Ruby to join some free thinking womens cult. but poor lonely drunken depressed dadda gets a lady, and no one stands for it!

I hate that they never continue the good series on tv... i mean this show was excellent. Yet they didnt commission a 2nd season. No they'll give those to idiotic shows that have no point to them other than to listen to people bicker at each other, get drunk... sing horribly... and all the other crap tv shows out there... TV Angers me royally!
