The Tea party is American taxpayers, plain and simple. The only extremism is coming from the democrats that failed to pass a budget last year and helped to put the USA into economic turmoil with Bush/Obama big Socialized intrusive government policies that are failing to create jobs or a recovery. The democrats have lost all credibility with their embrace of Socialism in a constitutional republic, that's real extremism folks.

A 61 Billion dollar reduction in government spending is 1% of the total government spending this year to date, and .4% (4/10% of a percent) of the total U.S. debt. For perspective if you had $10,000 in credit card debt, this would be as if you reduced your spending by $40 a year. Oooooh EXTREME!

While not a Tea Party member I have met many who are and they are not terrorist like Chuck would like us to believe but they are worst. Those silver haired ladies look just like the ladies at my church. You think they're harmless? Think again. I have come to believe there are many people in Washington who are willing to sell out America for their own agendas. How can anyone say that putting this country farther in debt is a good thing? If we as a nation do not start living within our means we will end up as poor as the poorest nation in the world.
