  • how do they have such a jazzy sound what type of pickups are they?

  • I think those were the pickups that came in it. A Fralin Blues Special in the bridge and an Adder in the neck.

  • Richeray..you should use your secret to get Brad Paisley to come visit your living room since you both love teles, crooks, and Z's....just a thought. ps. keep up the awesome videos, you got something great goin on...to bad Gatton's not still alive and pickin, he would have ur 52 out if you invited him over..lol

  • Brad's been invited already. Just waiting to hear back from him. :^)

  • What kind of pickups are in Matt's guitar?

  • As per Matt

"Those are Adder pickups. I put a Fralin blues special in the bridge but it sounds exactly the same. But when we did the video they were both adders"

  • Wonderful tone - playing and a spectacular looking Tele as well.

  • Wonderful... lovely tone, lovely feel, lovely piece...

  • great pickin' Matt.

  • Great stuff. Kind of the Danny Gatton starter kit in a couple of places there.

  • The first song is called "Happy Ending" written by Matt. I forget which disc it's on. The second tune is called "Goose Pickin'". I have all off this guy's discs, and they are amazing and a lot of fun to listen/play to.

  • Awsome, do you know the song title please?

  • thank you very much

  • jashobbsie: About a year ago, I contacted Bill Crook to find out the price of a Crook Custom Guitar built to the specs of Brad Paisley (without the G-bender) and it started off at about $2,500. Honestly, they sure seem worth it!
