@300tdTmb Common rail and EUI or HEUI injection systems wont break often if you take care of oil services and proper fuel filtration/water separation systems when you are supposed to. Main reason why newer systems break is lack of maintenance.

I love big, old, simple diesel engins, without commonrail and some other high pressure injectors and electronics everywhere wich are breaking all the time. Engins like this one, they`ve got soul and you know, that if you strart it it will never die until run out of fuel or you tourn it off.

@Truckerek666 This is old 19litre Tatra engine from year 1983. It has 265 kW (356 hp) with 1295 Nm of torque.

Present Tatra engines are mostly V8 (12,7litre) (with 1 turbo) - 325 kW (435 hp) and 2100 Nm of torque. They are Euro 5 certified.

Tatra is working on Euro 6 V8 engine in present days.
