  • Holy shit, I've been a RHCP fan for ages but I had no idea that they've done this song before, fucking legendary! Just as good as John Lennon's version :D

  • two favorite bands- beatles and rhcp. perfect match

  • @ChaosWinter dave navarro

  • I've always loved Lennon's version for 40 years. This is the 1st time I've heard the Chili's. I think it's f'ing excellent. One of the best vocal performances I've ever heard from Kiedis. And the band's hot too. I noticed one small, not inappropraite alteration in lyrics: Kiedis turns "dope" in "Don't let them fool you with dope & cocaine" into "do-nope", as in "Dope, no thanks"!

  • I like the version where there is a guy named John in the band

  • @NickODU2015 i agree with both of you guys. nothings shocking and RDLH are amazing albums and are so different than OHM but they are definitely daves best stuff.

its not like those JA albums were just about dave. the whole band proved to be awesome during that era too

  • Who's in guitar in thist song?

  • @ceclovitchable No, his best work is on Nothing's Shocking and Ritual De Lo Habitual. For me, One Hot Minute proved more about the Chili Peppers as a band than it did necessarily for individual players except for Chad Smith, One Hot Minute has far and away his best drumming.

  • @FuzzyChurro Seriously, Dave did a good job IMO. He at least tried and wanted to give 100%. John was interested in being an egocentric asshole just for the sake of being an egocentric asshole. Obviously he's completely changed since he's come back, but Dave did a great job and tried his hardest. By the end of his tenure, John was just half-assing all of his shows. As much as I love Frusciante, One Hot Minute is actually my favorite RHCP album.
