A small tribute to Dave Sewell, the fine luthier, musician and friend from Baltimore, MD, who built my mountain dulcimer. In this short piece I've tried to move away from the more traditional, folksy, side of the dulcimer and into some warmer chords. Includes an acoustic guitar backing.
Chords:
D / / / DM7 / / / G6 / / / A7 / / /
G6 / / / Bm / / / Em / A7 / D / / /

Curious Will, what's the scale length of that teardrop (and since I'm asking, how wide is the bout and how deep:) I'm trying to relate the sound to the physical size of it. Hard to see it well in the picture, but Dave seemed to made a nice little dulci for you.
