TWEED BABY!

The tweed version sparkles more than the tolex version. The tolex sounds restrictive were the tweed is richer sounding. It has a lot more harmonics bouncing around.

truly. i'm offloading my Fender Twin for a Tweed Blues Jr. i record/play at home b/c my gigging days are over for now. besides, i'll have folks mic the amp on stage and save my back. the Blues Jr. sounds great.

Huge difference. NOS tweed sounds better to me. Good thing I just bought one!!!

Pode ser impressão minha mas o tweed parece ter um som mais duro.
Legal a iniciativa de compartilhar essas informações.

Excelent video Blueszep. thank you. I could not figure out why I found my telecasters sounding so "muffled" on the blues junior. Feels too muddy at the low end and too britle at the high end. Your video really clearly demonstrate what a difference the jensen speaker makes. I've ordered one. I can't believe someone at fender thought this new speaker choice on the Tolex version would be "an improvement".
Nice video!
I'm thinking of buying either a blues deluxe or a blues junior NOS. The thing is that 40 watts
will probably be too loud but 15 won't be enough. I'm mostly playing in my room.
Whats your advise?

If you play mainly at home, buy a Fender Blues Junior. Blues Deluxe is too loud, I would not recommend it for home use.
15W on BJ is enough for most uses. Unless you play on an open air stage, BJ will be enough for you. You can play with a heavy drummer, and everyone can hear you.
