@sownsew @carlperkins56 I think you gentlemen will very much enjoy my episode 138 dedicated to this song "Jhumroo" on the 24th anniversary of the death of the singer of the song, the late Mr. Kishore Kumar a few weeks ago.

The singer is Kishore Kumar Indias most popular playback singer. Perhaps one of the most versatile singers the world has known, Kishore was equally brilliant in sad, happy, comedic songs, as well as difficult tunes. KK died at the young age of 54.

How terrific to see this clip. This song is on Bart Plantenga's "The Rough Guide to Yodel" which contains many other very unusual examples of yodeling.

This is brilliant yodelling, I'd like to know the name of this song and also have the words translated into English so i could sing it. It reminds me of Kenny Roberts "She taught me to yodel" and Bill Haley's "Yodel your blues away", also some of the Hank Snow and Jimmie Rogers stuff. Little old lady who!
