@gmjssc you obviously haven't played the game. the range of motion from an offensive player changes SO quickly, all you can do as a defender is hit them hard and fast. head to head contact is inevitable. going for the ball is the defender's main objective. but don't forget that the guy with the ball moves too.
How did you get hurray? He said he was sorry for the injuries but it is an OPTION to play in the NFL, not a requirement. These players know what their risking and they live the life of kings in return.
Yes, the goal of the defender is to separate the man from the ball, but the point of contact between the man and the ball is most often the hands, NOT the head.
It does but soccer is not contact like football thats for sure

I agree with everything, except his soccer comment. To say professional soccer doesn't have contact, lol. Needs to stick to what he knows.
