It's nice to see someone on this thread who isn't a complete moron.

I hope my body is someones business, because I don't know much about it honestly. Will you take care of my body for free?

A relative of mine was studying mechanical engineering when the medical dept asked the engineering dept to manufacture a tool for a surgical procedure. The students had to learn some things about the human body in order to make the device. This peaked his interest in medicine when he found that the body is basically a biological machine, and things he already learned applied. He changed majors and became a great heart surgeon.
The body is a machine.

Wow Capitolism works. Who would have thought. Mike Moron just made a documentery about how bad Capitolism is. Hmm yet he is making money hand over fist with his stupid movie's. People must like the trash he spews because they keep coming back for more.
Health care does need to be fixed. But not buy the government.

health care a business... that's just sad... you're talking about human lives, not a Trabant or a Toyota.

This guy is an idiot, hes interviewing the owner of a grocery store about medicare, and comparing buying a car to surgery, What about the people working at walmart that dont have health care spending accounts and have to chose between feeding their family or getting a tumor removed. He edited out his whole interview with michael moore.

@kinrade4 He interviewed John Mackey, the founder and CEO of Whole Foods. Mackey is different than owners of other grocery chains because of the health plan he offers.

The car analogy was about competition.

Wal-Mart actually came out in support of the health insurance reform legislation in Congress.

Thats where charity comes in, before the HMO system was mandated in 1973 alot of fraternal organizations would help raise money for hospitals and free clinics, as well as the fact that doctors could try to work out payment plans for people who needed help. This idea that doctors are all cruel is wrong, charity won't cease to exist if the government doesn't force it...
