3 video game covers created with Guitar Hero: World Tour Music Studio.

Volume 1

3 Rounds of Rock
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out (NES)
- My most recent creation at the time this volume was created. A bit repetitive, and the drums don't really get into it until nearly half way through. Complete with custom section sequenced by me.

Ice Cap'd Snow Bros
Sonic 3 (Genisis) & Snow Bros. (NES)
- One of my older songs, with the 2nd highest rating out of all my songs. Personally, I love playing the Snow Bros. sections.

Decisive Battle
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
- My highest rated song, and probably my favorite. The highest I've seen it was at #2, and it's slowly gone down from there as new stuff comes along. Oh well. Contains a custom section sequenced by me. It also has a couple sections inspired by an arrangement of this song by Powerglove. I wanted to note that somewhere, but there's really no place to put it within GH:WT.

Console: XBOX360

Notes:
- IMO, these songs sound better in GH WT as opposed to GH Metallica as the base in GHM is louder and sounds muffled, as well as some other differences in instrument sounds.
- I am playing the songs in the video, but the music is pre-recorded and played over top. What? Do you really want to hear all the mistakes I make? :P
- The frets are ahead of the music in this one, partly due to when I upload to YouTube (audio ends up lagging behind about 0.13 seconds).
- When I record, the video is a tad faster then the audio, and the frets start getting ahead. When editing the video, I put some pauses in the video to try and compensate, and you'll likely notice them.

  • omg where can u find the song punch out on gh??/

  • Look for the song title "3 Rounds of Rock" on either GH World Tour's or GH Metallica's GHTunes

  • Needs moar drums.

  • Yeah, I know my drumming tracks aren't that exciting. I try to do a custom drum track whenever the drums in the original song don't suit the sound I'm going for, but besides a few parts here and there, my drums tend to get repetitive.

  • My Decisive Battle cover seems to be pretty popular. I've seen a number of videos here on youtube of people playing it. I think my e-penis just grew a few more inches. XD

  • half of this comment is spam

but i have nothing but praise for this video.

all three of your covers sounded like great choices, being that i was only familiar with 'ice cap zone'. i liked the lead melodies and the drum tracks sounded like they were put together with care. and even the video quality was extraordinary to me (though there was a very noticeable lag). i'd love to hear more.

    now for the spam half.

i'm also in ghwt covers and i'd appreciate it if you'd check out some of my videos.

  • "though there was a very noticeable lag"

So it's not just me seeing it lag. Good to know. I'll try to make up for that when I do volume 3 (right after I finish my next cover).

  • "3 rounds of rock" is simply astounding. I'm gonna learn guitar, have my friend help me cover it, and post it on youtube with lyrics. This is fucking win!

  • It got better later. I made that comment beofre the punch out drums came in at full force.
