I filmed 6 pill bugs moving around the bottom of a bucket. I took 2 fps of the video, segmented the images to select just the bug plus a fiducial mark and created a 3D model of their movement over time. Since the bugs mostly moved around the perimeter of the bucket their path looks helical. If a bug was stationary it shows up as a vertical line. This is 500 frames, or a little over 4 minutes. The unwavering, intermittent vertical line is the fiducial mark (used to indicate the "top" of the frame) and should not be mistaken for a bug.
