Roatan's Mangrove Canal

This video tour explores the prehistoric mangrove canal near Oak Ridge on Isla Roatan, Honduras. This video will take you at real speed along the entire length of the canal - from one end to the other. The entire trip, however, is 50 minutes, which consists of - Motoring through the Oak Ridge lagoon, across the harbour to the canal, and then the complete return trip. Along the way the tourist will see several very nice homes, which are mostly owned by Americans. This location is host to a substantial U.S. Retiree community. You may want to visit and consider Oak Ridge if you are thinking about retiring overseas.
