I'm 15 years old and this song means a whole lot to me. My dad used to play this song when I was a baby while he rocked me to sleep. He told me it made him cry. He still plays it for me, and it makes me cry. I will always love this song. It's so beautiful. Its our song.

I feel the same nostalgia, the melancholy feeling that the chance of being loved has slipped away, with no one to blame but yourself. Then again, I think for most people life is too short to find love and let it sink in long enough to do any good. At least we can enjoy the pleasure and pain of the song.
