  • WOW A ws6 and a trans am are the exact same except a hood and some wheels.. Same as an SS and a Z28 unless it had SLP options like exhaust and air lid.. auto LS1 usually put down 290-310 rwhp M6 305-330 rwhp.. Autos have 20% drivetrain loss, and M6 have 15%.. Just thought I would teach the DA a lil bit

  • The WS6 has a higher airbox as well, they must be some kind of factory freak to put 330 to the wheels stock, but I guess anything is possible. And it also depends on the dyno, everyone will agree, dynojets give you good numbers, whereas a mustang dyno gives a lower number but is a more TRUE wheel hp rating.

  • You know whats funny, you say you have 326 hp max, well the 2000 WS6 came with 320 hp stock so your telling me from all them mods you have only gained 6hp....shame shame shame

  • the ws6 does NOT have 320 hp to the wheels, they have about 290-300 to the wheels. they are only factory rated at 320hp, which is never correct. the first dyno run stock came to 305 RWHP. I gained 21 RWHP with headers and exhaust. what do you mean ALL THOSE mods? I have yet to put much into it. that was on a mustang dyno as well, which "underrates" cars, but it is more of a true HP rating. On a dyno jet i would have about 340 rwhp. dont make ignorant remarks like that, it makes you look stupid.

  • bro your trying to be a smart ass,you listed more than one mod, and yes i know about all the factory bullshit but i said a simple statement and you wanted to become an ass....and made YOURSELF look stupid

  • The only POWER ADDERS, if you know what those are, include the raised air lid, and full exhaust. A clutch does nothing but connect the driveline, drag radials only allow a sticky launch, and the 160 degree thermostat allows the engine to run cooler. Stop getting your info from stupid movies like the fast and the furious, and go hang out at the track with some domestic guys and you will learn something. Like how not to make ignorant comments.

  • @bigboisi1 when a company rates a car it rates horsepower at the motor not at the wheels so the REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER will be much less then what the company states

  • @devildoug216 What exhaust did you use.

  • 320hp factory rating is correct, as their claim is at the flywheel, not the wheels. and in that case, it is actualy underated depending on certain cars.

  • 340HP at the wheels on a dynojet sounds about right, add the underdrive pulley, port the throttle body and maybe hit 350+hp at the wheels, all on a dynojet though. Gotta love how idiots quote factory numbers then misconstrue them with their concept of the truth as if it's law.

  • Well shows what u know. All cars a rated at the flywheel, You do know what that is right? The WS6 is rated at 320 at the flywheel not tires. So do the math 326 hp to the wheels so its pusin around 350 at the fly with the drivetrain loss. ITS A LS1 GUY!!!!

  • Its always best to know what your talking about instead of acting like you do. Try it some time you'll get a better response.

  • Stop talking now. You don't know your head from your ass when it comes to the LSx platform. Get over yourself, you're wrong, period.
