He's using a full western grip. And yes he does look a little weird when he plays haha... Look a bit girlish especially the serve motion. His left hand when he hits the forehand shot is a very girlish position too :P But he does have a good game.

I like his hitting-arm extension after impact. If your arm is that straight you'll be a solid ball striker.
