Was it a free concert?

Surely nobody would want to pay for this.

It was a paid for concert. Floor tickets were $AUD195 at the 1st concert in Melbourne. At the 2nd concert floor tickets were $AUD285. I was 4 rows from the front here. And I know that Whitney was looking and smiling at me at times as she could tell I was grooving along. The majority of ticket holders would have thought the prices well worth it.

i was at rod laver....which concert was better? Planetary or Rod laver?

Rod Laver - younger crowd with more fun and spontaneity. Whitney's best Oz performance at the time compared to Brisbane/Sydney. The Plenary - Whitney topped her Rod Laver performance. A much more intimate performance. But there were more older people in the crowd and venue management kept forcing people to sit down even during "Step by Step", which is a dance track. Whitney's voice was "better" at The Plenary but had you only gone to Rod Laver you still would have had a great time.

The audience was very responsive and up on their feet at every moment at her first concert. Slightly different story at her second concert in Melbourne when security and even some (older) guests kept telling people to sit down. Example. First concert, people were up and dancing to Step by Step. Second concert (at a different venue), people sat down for the most part. It prompted people at one stage to shout let us dance. Towards the end, people just got up and danced.

even if whitney isnt hittting all of her difficult notes it is better than most popstars that either cant hit them at all or use a backing track when they come in i.e beyonce, mariah etc. i hope i can get some money together so i can get to see her when she comes to the uk. shes the queen simple as that.
