  • Take out the floppy disk, it's no fair if you don't. It will sit there and check for a floppy for a good 7 seconds.

  • @metalpayne3 If there will be a floppy disk, Windows wouldn't boot

  • Computers of nowdays are lot faster and you could do lots of other things, altrough I still feel nostalgic of the computers of the Windows 98 era. Those were other times, with friends staying on the same place playing videogames :)

  • @volken1991 It WILL boot if it is bootable, lets say windows 1.0 installed on a floppy.

  • @volken1991 Do you think that after more than a decade without being used it would be suitable to apply some thermal compound to the CPU?

  • @SWOgottaGO If the installation cd is non-bootable, floppy disk is required to start the setup program. You don't need FD to boot Windows.

  • I Still use 98

  • WINDOWS 98 RULES!!!!!!!!

  • boo windows 98 boo windows 98 go windows 7

  • @volken1991 7 and 95 sucks! XP 98 2000 Vista ROCK! and Millenium a lil!

  • @volken1991 You can set it up in the bios

  • @metalpayne3 windows 98 fan???
