Well, the skull wasn't the one talking in the books. The whole thing didn't glow. Just the eyes glowed so that you had an idea of where it was looking. I don't mind that they replaced it with a human actor, but they didn't need to change the character from a spirit to a human ghost. The whole point was that the spirit was a massive library of things arcane.

@thisisatonofbs He still is a massive library of the arcane being a hyper intelligent sorcerer from the tenth century. I liked the ghost aspect. It makes more sense in regard to definitions of free will. And it makes the character's past more interesting to me, I can actually care about him as a person. I felt, other than Dresden himself, he was the most interesting aspect of the show.
