the thing that REALLY sucks about it, is that my god damn cd is fucked up and the colors are all over the place and cant read the text anymore :(

and yeah they used arrow but you know....not like they had entire lines of archers behind their warriors to do volleys and stuff

Vikings actually used stealth & surprise as 1 of their most useful weapons. they were primarily raiders, more like pirates than a standing army, although they did partake in quite a few relatively large battles of a few hundred. and of course the 1 on 1 combat was big but mostly stealthy surprise raids with axes swords & shields. Rush in kill burn pillage plunder rape & kill sum more, the viking way :P

game looks great, think ill buy it to.

though there are a few things that really dont add up with vikings....

vikings didnt fight in gigantic battles like that, didnt use stealth, for as far as i know, they didnt use many arrows either. the honor thing you know :D they believe in 1 to 1 combat, not nasty tricks like arrows and stealth.the weapons arent real either.

still looks like a wonderfull game to me,but they really shouldnt depict it as THE viking game,cuz its really not that viking-ish ^^

the big battles are pretty damn cool. theres stealth in it and its decent and the graphics look great. theres only a few load times only when you first enter each island. the combat system is pretty damn good. Oh one more thing be ready for body parts being loped off which in this game looks awesome because you see blood and bone and it brings you into this slow mo type camera views so you get to see the decapitation more better. So yeah I like it and you should give it a try
