got it for xmas, the audio isnt too good but i can get by and im planning to get an external mic once i have the money

idk like 500 or something around there but if i were you i would get a vx1 or something because if it was my choice id rather have a vx than this because they have a much better mic but there are other reasons id rather get the GL1 too but idk itd be up to you

aight let me break it down. this punk near where i live is rich as fuck and he got a brand new 2000 dollar vx 1000 right out of the box. i want something he doesnt have and a gl1 sounds good but i cant find one for 500

@AlienSkaterr you cant get brand new vx1's, they stopped selling them like in 2000. you can only get them used....

first off, you can't get a vx1 for 2000$ straight out of the box. unless you took a time machine back to 1995. second, thats a terrible reason to be buying a camera, you should feel ashamed. and third, vx1000 > canon cameras(excluding hv series), period.

sick dude pretty good colors theyll get way better and i herad that if you turn acc mic on or sumthing in your settings on you get less high pitched sound but eveidently it isnt very much better but still better than rag which isnt to bad but get a rhode video mic there sick and cheap
