1902 ford truck.,. purchased in 1980 after she was found in a barn. under cover and not touched since 1940. all the wood was in good shape, no rot. she had many coats of paint which kept the wood in good shape. chestnut spokes and frame, pine body. copper gas tank with brass headlights and trim. engine is under the seat.her length is about 11 ft long and 7 ft tall, with the top up. goes about 25 mph. she's not fast but she's very strong. due to a serious injury, we had to change the crank start to electric. tires are 30 x 3. canvas easily folds down.SHE IS AVAILABLE FOR MOVIES AND PICTURES. follow us on facebook... 1902 ford

  • Wouldn't this actually be a Cadillac (in a way), since Ford Motor Company didn't start until 1903, and before then, he was running another car company, which became Cadillac? Do I have something messed up?

  • possibly...some parts say ford..others say cadillac

  • @ctcobraxxx I believe this would be made by "The Henry Ford Company". If I'm not mistaken, it was Henry Ford, Henry Leland (who formed Cadillac), and other investors. The original prototype car for this company was coincidentally used by both the "Ford Motor Company" and the "Cadillac Company" as their first car!

Beautiful truck! I'd love to own something like that! How was the engine when it was first found?

  • Ford and his partners had different ideas of what would be best for the company, so Ford left. After Ford left the company was renamed Cadillac.

    Thanks

  • Well either way, it looks like a great truck!
