neumann is a great mic,some people are idiots to say any different.if u want great sounding vocals you need a great sounding mic, u are using just some crappy old mic then that just tells me that,you either cant afford a very good mic like the neumann,which is very understandable.or it could mean that u are not that serious about what u are doing.So anyone who says that this is not a good mic really needs to do some research.I love this mic,and every neumann mic i have purchased..tlm49 is my 3rd

Why should I be impressed by either mic -- and I own a pair of 103's and U87Ai -- when the only audio heard is from the crappy camera mic? You're dancing about architecture, Sennheiser.

Ive been recording on a old mic that weights about 5 pounds, pure metal. old school hold in the hand type like for auditoriums, and shit comes clean.. been doing it since 99.. fuck a expensive ass mic. I agree with ytxcg
