Training video showing you how to complete levels 5-20.

PLEASE NOTE: The Apple pattern is designed to take you to the end of level 16 and for completion of level 18. For levels 17, 19 & 20, I start with the Apple pattern and then free run.

Killerclown has developed a pattern called the 5th key pattern designed for levels 17, 19 & 20 completion.

  • Can you please re-upload this? I would really like to watch the pattern in action!

  • How annoying, I don't understand why this is no longer available. I will see if I can upload again.

  • Having done a bit of research, it looks like this is part of a much wider problem. My account tells me that this video is still live and should be viewable! Not sure what to do next other than wait for YouTube to fix the problem?

  • thanks for this.

where did you get the patterns from? (eg killerclown??)

  • Hi, no problem, glad you have found the video useful.

Yes, these are the Killerclown patterns that can be found on the internet by typing 'killerclown pacman' into google. The page is hosted by MameWorld. Good Luck!

  • @Ljadova Thank you - when you have executed these patterns as many times as I have it does become second nature :) It was a challenge trying to talk at the same time as playing the game.

  • I play these patterns myself. I only play this apple pattern up until the fourth key or level 16, and also on level 18. On level 17(the fifth key), level 19, and level 20, the ghosts do not turn blue, so I play the "fifth key pattern" on those levels.

  • @FireEmblemForever Exactly. And you can take more risk and go for ghosts a little more with theses patterns. These are excellent patterns and a lot of fun.

  • Thanks for uploading these. I don't care if they don't show how to gobble all four ghosts all the time. Every little bit helps.

  • This pattern is intended to show a simple easy to remember method to bridge between my Pt2 & Pt4 walkthroughs. Eating all the ghosts was never the intention, neither is getting the perfect score. You have missed the purpose of my videos :-)

  • Most interesting, thanks for the uploads! :)

  • Very similar to the Ken Uston pattern I used to play in the 80s. I prefer your version though - this is the safest way Ive seen to getting to the 9th key.
