  • this is real punk not the today shit

  • They didn't sell out. They were really young when they did the more hardcore punk. Their musical tastes and influences shifted and there is absolutely nothing wrong with evolving as a musician. They were born to do what they do now. It doesn't mean they still don't like their punk roots as it's obvious they still incorporate that into their songs to this day.

  • pay to get played and you will get played no matter how bad you suck

  • @muryat100 I'm pretty sure nobody says Rebecca Black is talented. But, whatever man.

  • the beastie boys have played punk, hip hop, funk, jazz(in check your head) and rock and people say that justin bieber and rebecca black are talented

  • Sellouts? really? They said it, and everyone in the hardcore scene back then knew the beastie boys was a joke band. So they started doing rap as another joke band and played open mic and hey they started to get fans and people were starting to like them so why not run with it? They didnt start thinking oh hey lets make a shit ton of money! It just happened. and about 90% of their concerts today are charity concerts. so dont call them sellouts.

  • i could a bounch of skins, punx and thrashers slaming in a circle pit to this song at a shitty bar

  • HC punk!

  • haha yea you mean they sold out.

  • doing the same thing over and over again to please a bunch of po-faced 'fans' whilst secretly hating themselves for it - THAT would be selling out.

'selling out' what a fucking stupid concept.

  • @Antirooster i used to be into punk rock only. and then i started hearing rap, and techno and i started to like that shit. and then you start to hear rappers collaborating with techno DJs and punks that rap. Having a wide variety of talent is good. and it helps to get your point across to other parts of an audience.

  • @RupertsNanny

they still love punk, lee majors come again shows it.
