I've seen pretty much everything run on the oval. Just depends on the track as to what's allowed. 2wd is the general rule for the 1/10 scale cars.

Short tracks make for closer racing. There are plenty of tracks here in Tx so you have a choice of bullrings medium sized tracks and large tracks. I like the bullrings the best myself.

They are .12 motors. We haven't gotten into the .09's around here yet.
