  • great job

  • I like it that people are finding this. At least someone is searching for Mark and AMC!

  • Checking to see if there were any AMC covers on YT and found this..... wow, fantastic job !

I've tried to sing several songs and never felt like I came anywhere this close.....there's something slightly out of tune with the way he sings, much more subtle than a simple jazz style either....very impressed....if I get some nerve I might put up my JM Feet cover....

  • Do it! Do it!

  • I've been thinking on this comment, and I think I might have indentified what you mean. I was listening to No Easy Way Down (which I will cover soon), and he starts some notes flat and very slowly bends up into them. If that's what you mean, Otis Redding used to do it as well, notably on I've Been Loving You Too Long. Comparing my singing to Mark's is the greatest musical compliment I've ever had!

  • Audio is excellent. the video, however.....

    Beautiful song and performance!

  • Hi Alan!

Yeah, the video is always gonna be limited by my crappy camera, and the fact that I need to be in my tiny office/studio in order to use the good recording gear. That said, I can get the pop screen out the way for sure, and maybe I can move the whole mic out of shot without compromising the audio quality. Previously, it was up and to the side of me, and the clarity and punch was definitely down.

  • Great taste.

  • Superb!

  • Please tell which tuning you used on this? Pretty please!!

  • That is simply a great job on a great Mark Eitzel tune. It shook me.

  • The guitar sounds great - well-played too.
