Here is the Rear Eyes back up alarm system installed on a Pontiac Solstice. I was very pleased with both the performance of the unit and the ease of installation. The hardest part of the entire job was hooking the power and ground leads to the car's reverse light. That part was made a lot easier by putting the car on a lift. It has two sensors pointed backwards and two that are set at angles to cover the corners of the car. It was much easier to install than a conventional bumper mounted system and gives good coverage out to about 6+ feet.

  • This is how ALL back-up alarms should work. Let the driver hear the stupid tones instead of everyone within half a mile... back-up alarms haven't saved a single life as far as I know and I don't see people paying any attention to them... the most stupid irritating device I've ever heard. beep beep beep beep all day long from plows, trucks, buses, it IS simply ridiculous and needless noise pollution. SHUT THE *UCK UP

  • You should always cover up your plate....people are crazy these days haha.
