1 download it as a torrent
2 install iTunes 10.5 beta 3 (google it)
3 hit update/restore + shift/option ,and select the ipsw file that you have downloaded before. (if the update gave you error try with restoring)
4 bypass the activation screen for iPhone 3GS/4 and iPod touch 3G/4th - activate voice over by clicking the home button 3 times - click on the clock then swipe down with three fingers ( notification center will show up) - click on something on the notification center - click the home button.
5 now everything is the same like the video or complete from the next 5 ;)

4 BYPASS the activation screen on ios beta 2 ...
1 click the home button just once
2 select emergency call then call 112 or 911
3 then click the home button
4 click on the status bar 5 end the call and here you go
5 to activate ios 5 beta 2 go to cydia and then install ifile for FREE from this source cydia.xsellize.com or sinfuliphonerepo.com
6 go to systemversion.plist which is here /System/ Library/CoreServices/SystemVer­sion.plist
7 remove the last 2 lines adn save
8 reboot your iphone and thats it :-)

@AOMalley05 This video is too old and now there is no need to bypass the activation screen just install ios 5.0.1. & it will activate normaly

i already already tried jailbreaking my iphone 3gs but it gets stuck on the apple logo when rebooting.
