Pat Martino ,for sure that's his sound on "One Two,Free".Also one phenomenal drummer;Ron Krasinski. If anyone knows what became of Ron please let me know.
To be ignored is not a pleasant feeling. I hope that Eric is happy with the apreciation he gets from his listeners. It's more important then a good 'press'. I hope that he is not in financial trouble (of apreciation alone one cannot live...).
Erics NOT dead...for years lives in Pittsburg/ Ignored by jazz press and powers that be till health issues hit him and his wife. Kloss played more modern alto than anyone TODAY in this era ( 2011 etc ) He had a SOUND on alto and soul on tenor- I truly feel what Eric Kloss had was beyond anything described by words. A beautiful player and SOULFUL deep human being and friend. Don Patterson and Billy James ALWAYS spoke of him in the same reverence as Sonny Stitt.
This is from one my most treasured LPs, so hip! Martino's guitar is awesome as always!

I know this song in the version of Carol.
Is Eric dead?
Is SKyshadows an album of Eric?
Is it Pat Martino on this One, Two, Free album?
