Visual effects, design, and animation company SWAY Studio used its proprietary Drive-A-Tron(tm) software to create this sequence for Roland Emmerich's "2012" (when the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world). In this scene, Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) drives a limousine through Los Angeles as the city crumbles around him. SWAY's Drive-A-Tron(tm) allowed for spot-on simulation of a car driving over constantly-moving terrain. The result is an amazingly realistic and breathtaking scene.
