How Journalism and the Media Played a Role in the Presidential Election

How much influence do you think the media had in your perception of the candidates and their abilities? Alden Poole, emeritus professor of communications at Simmons College, will examine these and other issues in this workshop.

Poole served Simmons College for 31 years as a professor of journalism, communications department chair, director of the graduate diploma program, and acted as an activist for students. A former writer and editor for several New England newspapers, he has inspired many of his students to sell hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.
