"Ray of Light" is the fifth ending theme of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. (FMA is the only anime/manga franchise I love, the only one I'm not ashamed to love, and frankly, the only one I feel DESERVES all the love, lol.) I wasn't crazy about this song at first; but when I took time to really listen to it, I was struck by the lovely harmonies and how beautifully melodic it was. And once I looked up some english translations of the lyrics, I thought, "Wow, there's some beautiful emotion in this." It's angsty, but also hopeful; and that's a mix I can never resist. =)
I also couldn't get past how insanely Conqueror-of-Shamballa-ish the lyrics felt; it sounds so much like Ed stuck in our world, missing his brother and trying to find a way back to him. Possibly Winry, too. I think this works great for EdWin AND the Elric brotherly love we all adore. (In other words, I'm shamelessly fangirly for both and I'LL READ ANYTHING INTO THIS SONG THAT I WANT, KAY??)
BTW...none of those "alleluia's" are in the original, but the word the singer was singing sounded awfully similar to it and I couldn't get it out of my brain. And it sounded pretty. So I put it in. Sue me. =P
So yeah, this is my attempt at an english version. It's also a not-so-subtle attempt to GIVE MY MUSIC CHANNEL A LITTLE PUBLICITY. YES PEOPLE, THE WONDERFUL, CLEVER AND TALENTED DEARHEART HAS GRACED THE INTERNET WITH A MUSIC CHANNEL AND YOU MUST SUSCRIBE TO IT OR DIE--
Er, I mean...please feel free to check it out, if you don't have anything better to do.

...Pretty please? =3
You have a nice singing voice. Truly amazing, if I do say so myself. Mostly because, if other videos of yours are anything to go by, you're a truly, truly terrible person. Really amazes me that a horrible person can have a good singing voice. I may give this a Thumbs Up.

@ZeroBrinaFan Uhhhh...thanks? I think? XD I'm happy you enjoy my singing, and a little confused as to why you think I'm so terrible, but...no biggie! Haters gonna hate, lol. Thanks for the feedback!

@Dearheart42 That hater thing implies I hate simply to hate. Don't go getting me confused with you now. Then again, from what I've seen of you, that really does seem to be a major thing with you. Judging people by very minor things. Whether it be judging someone as a hater for a comment, or judging someone as dead on the inside after seeing their eyes for one second.

@ZeroBrinaFan Wait...what?
Listen, I don't know who you are, but if I've said anything that offended you or caused a misunderstanding, I'm truly sorry! Please message and tell me exactly what I did and I'll try my best to explain and fix it. I know I've had my less-than-glorious moments on the internet in the past, and I freely admit that I'm still learning from them. Again, please message me and tell me specifically what I did that bothered you so I can make up for it! I'd appreciate that!

I'm trying desperately to suppress the voice critic in me. I think you're grat, but being in choir forces me to only look at what can be unproved on.
I don't want to sound mean, because I really think you have a good voice. You sound better than I do recorded. :P
If you want my constructive criticism you can ask, but I'm infamous for accidentally crushing peoples souls, so I'll tell you that you did a great job (wich you did). . (I hope that didn't sound forced.) Keep singing!

@AcaaraUchiha101 Ahaha, wow. xD Hey, that's alright! I can be infamous for accidentally crushing people's souls when it comes to writing, so I totally understand where you're coming from, and I'm not afraid of criticism. Critique helps me grow, and that's something I embrace! Plus, I know all too well that my voice isn't exactly American Idol material. =P Singing is not my strong point by any means. So any advice and concrits you have to offer would be awesome. Go ahead and tear me apart. xD
