How to install the LoStKernel on the Samsung Epic Touch 4G

I was using the stock ROM from Sprint, and had the LOSkernel installed and it worked great! I just installed the CM7 Alpha rom on my 4G touch, but noticed it has a different kernel.

Do I need to install the LOS kernel on the CM7 ROM also?

What are the results of this, does it really help with LOS? Which we could do a poll on this thing.. I don't have the samsung epic touch 4g yet but, the LOS is making me hesitate.

@igaryy I'm running chris41g's acsrecovery5 ek02 kernel with the EG31 modem and have not gotten a single LOS for about a week now.

@Ish316 no issues at all when I was using it. But I have cm7 now, so can't use that kernel now.

@aziatikverse When you used the LoSt Kernel w/ Stock Rom, did you have any issues with wifi or the radio?

@bigtrailcde You would have to backup your kernel first (I don't actually know how). And now, Wiping the Cache will not clear your contacts. Just make sure your wiping the cache and not the whole phone. There are two options and they're pretty specific with which is which, you shouldn't have a problem, if you haven't done it already.
