Yeah,that's exactly why I didn't use any galvanized components inside the cooking area,any gal is only in the frame work. The drum itself is food grade stainless steel.

@webstar12712 Not at all,all it took was a few basic home handyman's tools,an old junk giveaway gas BBQ and a little thought.

nice work...love the stainless barrel. Do you have any vents for intake air on the bottom... i found i needed two large intake and exhaust holes for mine to develop any sufficient heat.

@MrMrwilem Thanks mate,yes there are vents in the bottom,I have drilled about a dozen 20mm holes beneath each burner.

@Tperez671 I scored the drum off ebay and wanted to get a few more but I can't contact the guy.It was originally used for storing and transporting teatree oil.
